Externships are a valuable part of most programs offered at Salter College. The purpose of the externship is to provide students with the opportunity to apply their skills and gain valuable experience in a business, medical or legal environment before graduation. In addition, some students are offered permanent positions at their externship site as a result of their externship experience.

Students generally serve their externship during their last term. The Career Services department assists students in securing externships. Externships are non-paid. The Career Services Department is available to provide information regarding the externship process to all students.
