Salter School is Now Salter College!
Salter School has been a leader in career education since 1937. With its new campus in West Boylston, Salter School is now recognized as SALTER COLLEGE.
SALTER COLLEGE recently received degree-granting authority from the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education and is accredited for degree-granting status by the American Council for Independent Colleges and Schools.
As career-focused education has become one of the fastest growing trends in education, Salter College continues to follow its very successful real-word approach to education.
“Let’s face it—the number one reason for continuing one’s education is the desire to have a secure and rewarding career in a high-demand field,” said Charlene Keefe, President of Salter College. “All of the degree and certificate programs at Salter College put emphasis on providing the skills that today’s employers are looking for. Employers report that Salter grads arrive ready to contribute. Salter College also remains committed to life-long learning for all students.”
This real-world approach to career education involves:
-Faculty members who bring extensive experience into the classroom through their history of participation in the local workforce.
-An emphasis on hands-on and real-world applications.
-Externships that provide students with opportunities to gain real-world experience before graduation.
-A Career Services staff that assists each graduate in securing a
position of employment in their chosen field.
Associates Degree and Certificate programs are offered in the following areas: Accounting, Medical Assisting, Massage Therapy, Medical Billing and Coding, Culinary Arts and Office Administration with a concentration in either Medical, Executive or Legal.
