ServSafe Certification – SCU101
This course provides a comprehensive overview of proper safety and sanitation in the workplace. The course identifies and reviews the bacteria, viruses and parasites often associated with food borne illness. Proper cooking, cooling, storage and rotation procedures are discussed. An overview of cleaning, sanitizing and pest control are given. The ServSafe examination is administered for certification. Participants must pass a written examination with a 75% score for certification. This 8-hour course is offered in two sections.
