Personal Development Courses

The personal development courses at Salter College provide remedial instruction in areas that everyone needs to be familiar with. Students will gain important knowledge and skills in one of the following personal development courses:

Remedial English – Writing is an important part of everyday life, and it’s important to know the basics. This remedial course covers sentence structure, word usage and punctuation. A variety of materials and teaching methods are used to help students learn writing and grammar.

Remedial Math – Before learning advanced math, the basics must be mastered. This course covers math concepts such as multiplication tables, factors, fractions, decimals and percentages and more. The subjects in this remedial course are taught in a way that makes sure the student is learning and understands the material.
